The semi finals of the 2011 UEFA Futsal Cup took place today.  There was one suprise in my opinion.  Defending Futsal Cup Champion Benfica lost to Montesilvano 3-0.  I thought with Benfica experience, they would win this match.  The other semi final Sporting defeated Host Kairat 3-2.  More info log on to Link-UEFA's Website.

I sure wish USA would show these type of matches.  Futsal is a beautiful game to watch just like soccer.  Faster, more touches on the ball, player must really think fast and it really develops the soccer players skills.  With UEFA Champions League and Europa League getting more popular here in the US, hopefully someday UEFA Futsal Cup (Europe’s Club Teams)  and Futsal EURO (Europe’s National Futsal Team) will become very popular as well.  Futsal is growing fast league wise here in the US, but very little TV Coverage.  I have produced many Futsal Video's including National Futsal Tournaments, many of my friends who do not like Soccer, enjoy watching Futsal.  Many of my friends who are Soccer fans really love to watch and play Futsal.
