Tomorrow begins the 2011 Futsal Grand Prix in Brazil.  The Grand Prix de Futsal is an international futsal competition of the same kind of the FIFA Futsal World Championship but with invited nations and held annually in Brazil. It was first held in 2005.  There are 16 teams in 4 groups.  This year US Futsal National Team is participating in Group C.  Among in their group is Iran, Uruguay and Belgium.  US will have a very tough task as Sunday USA takes on Uruguay then Monday USA faces a very tough Iran.  On September 12-15, US had it's first ever Futsal ID Camp then Futsal Training Camp September 24 through October 1 in Torrence California.  For more information on this exciting tournament and watch on line webcast, go to www.cbfs.com.br.  You can also visit Futsal Grand Prix Website as well.
